While a little later than planned following my long lay off it was great to kick start my slalom training for 2012 today. Tom and I took the opportunity to test some new 2013 prototypes against the 2012 versions. The challenging conditions with very gusty winds and choppy seas made it more difficult than expected and it was a little strange being back on a slalom board at first. I am looking forward to lots more sessions in the coming weeks as I prepare for the 2012 Maui Race Series (which kicks off on 2nd June 2012) and hopefully an appearance in the UK on the BSA circuit.
